Afghanistan Captain Hashmatullah scored 246 runs off 474 balls including 21 fours, lasted for almost 9 hours to bring up his double century in test format.

Hashmatullah Shahidi  the captain of Afghanistan of red ball format scored his highest individual score which helped break the highest score of Rahmat Shah who held the highest scorer position earlier.

Shahidi already had a record of unbeaten 200 against the same opponent in 2021, which was a highest individual score by Afghani batter till Rahmat shah broke it with 234 runs off 424.

Zimbabwe batters scored 586 runs with batting almost 5 sessions in the process, Afghanistan batted 193 overs till now alongside of loosing 4 wickets in 2 days and scored 656 runs. Its’ a day five and the predictive result might be a draw.

However many records have been broken in the current ongoing series, and afghan team might have certainly enjoyed scoring their highest ever total, as they won’t play test cricket that often.

The second test held to start from 2nd January.
